Pohang City Opens 145 Regular Courses for Lifelong Learning Center in Second Half of the Year...
10-Week Course for 2,740 Students Starting from the 19th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang Lifelong Learning Center announced on the 14th that the postponed second half regular courses of the Lifelong Learning Center due to COVID-19 will start on the 19th.
In line with the post-COVID-19 era, the courses will be adjusted in capacity and operated as a 10-week program for 2,740 students enrolled in 145 courses including certification, employment and entrepreneurship, liberal arts, language, and hobbies at Baetmeori Lifelong Learning Center and Women's Culture Center. However, courses where mask-wearing is not possible, those requiring close contact, and courses for youth are excluded this time.
Regarding this opening, Pohang City will conduct instructor capacity-building training for non-face-to-face online lectures, combined with an instructor workshop, four times a day in the morning and afternoon on the 14th and 15th.
