Jeon Nam-do Councilor Seo Dong-wook's 'Logistics Policy Committee Ordinance' Passes Standing Committee
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Council announced on the 14th that the "Jeollanam-do Logistics Policy Committee Formation and Operation Ordinance," which Assemblyman Seo Dong-wook (Democratic Party of Korea·Suncheon 3) proposed on the 13th, passed the Safety Construction and Firefighting Committee review.
This ordinance stipulates matters related to the formation and operation of the regional logistics policy committee under the "Basic Logistics Policy Act" to secure the competitiveness of the logistics industry and to promote the increase of domestic and international logistics industries and the efficiency of the logistics system.
The Logistics Policy Committee is tasked with deliberating and coordinating important matters related to Jeonnam Province's logistics policy. It also includes provisions to strengthen the effectiveness of the committee's operation, such as forming the committee with members who have abundant expertise and experience in logistics-related fields by linking Jeonnam Province with other cities and provinces.
