On the 14th, during the National Assembly Health and Welfare Committee's audit of the National Pension Service, independent lawmaker Lee Yong-ho stated, "Recently, employees who used drugs have filed for a retrial with the Service."
Lawmaker Lee inquired of Chairman Kim regarding this, saying, "According to the internal personnel regulations of the Service, a retrial request by a disciplined employee cannot result in a penalty heavier than the original disposition."
In response, Kim Yong-jin, Chairman of the National Pension Service, said, "Since the employees in question were dismissed last month, I understand they filed for a retrial thinking it might affect their future careers."
