Ewha Womans University Conducts Online Training to Strengthen Leadership Skills of Cambodian Female Public Officials
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Ewha Womans University announced on the 13th that it will conduct an online training program on 'Strengthening Women's Leadership' for public officials from three Cambodian ministries from the 12th to the 16th.
The Ewha Institute for International Development Cooperation, which is in charge of the training project, plans to contribute to the formation of Cambodia's gender equality policies and projects and discuss ways to expand women's capabilities and leadership amid the COVID-19 crisis.

Supported by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), this online training program will be attended by 15 female policy officials from Cambodia's Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Ministry of Labor and Vocational Education, and Ministry of Rural Development. Ewha Womans University will conduct live lectures on topics such as work-family balance support policies, gender mainstreaming policies, and responses to gender-based violence and women's human rights protection policies. In close cooperation with the Korean Women's Development Institute, the Korean Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education, and the Korea Women's Human Rights Institute, Ewha will support the establishment of a policy action plan that can practically contribute to strengthening women's leadership capabilities in Cambodia.
