Singer Goo Hara's Safe Stolen from Home After Her Death... Police Launch Preliminary Investigation
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] After the death of singer and former girl group member the late Goo Hara, a safe was stolen from her residence, prompting the police to conduct an internal investigation.
The Seoul Gangnam Police Station announced on the 12th that they are investigating after receiving a report that someone broke into Goo's home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, in January and stole a safe.
No Jong-eon, a lawyer from Law Firm S representing Goo's older brother Goo Ho-in, stated, "Since no one was living in the house, the theft was discovered late, and a report was later filed with the local police station." The lawyer added, "Because too much time has passed since the theft, a formal complaint cannot be filed now, but a criminal complaint is scheduled to be submitted on the 15th."
