In a statement released that day, Chief Physician Sean Conley said, "In addition to meeting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) criteria for safely ending isolation, I am pleased to announce that this morning's COVID-19 PCR test sample results indicate that the President is no longer considered to pose a risk of transmitting the virus to others."
