Yonsei University Holds the 20th Underwood Missionary Award Ceremony
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Yonsei University Underwood Memorial Foundation announced on the 8th that it will hold the 20th Underwood Missionary Award ceremony at 3 p.m. on the 12th at Yonsei University's Ruth Chapel. The event will be conducted in two parts: the first part is the award ceremony, and the second part is the Underwood Memorial Lecture, which will be live-streamed on Yonsei University's official YouTube channel.

The Underwood Missionary Award has been presented since 2001 to honor the spirit of Underwood, the founder of Yonsei University, by selecting missionaries who have been dedicatedly working overseas. This year's recipients are Missionaries Kim Gloria and Joo Seong-woong. Professors Park Bo-kyung (Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary) and Dr. Jung Woon-hyung (Yonsei University United Graduate School of Theology) were invited as lecturers for the Underwood Memorial Lecture.
