1195 Cases Detected, Reported, and Blocked Over One Month from Late August

After preliminary training, they are conducting monitoring of harmful websites and reporting activities.
During one month of operation, they detected 1,195 cases including obscene sites and posts soliciting prostitution, and reported them to the Korea Communications Standards Commission, completing actions such as blocking 336 of these cases.
On the 7th, a meeting was held at the provincial government small conference room with related organizations attending to discuss the operation of the Digital Sexual Crime Cyber Monitoring Team. They listened to difficulties in operating the cyber monitoring team and discussed improvement plans for future project promotion and cooperation methods among related organizations.

Han Mi-young, Director of the Women's Policy Division of the province, stated, “The activities of the Digital Sexual Crime Cyber Monitoring Team have been active over the past month. Going forward, illegal filming materials detected by the cyber monitoring team will be referred to investigative agencies in the form of complaints or tips, and we plan to further enhance the project’s effectiveness through cooperation with related organizations.”
