Yeonggwang-gun to Operate 'Library Humanities on the Road' from the 17th
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 8th that it will operate the ‘Library Humanities Program on the Road’ starting from the 17th.
This project is based on local libraries and aims to promote the enjoyment of humanities to local residents, pursuing the normalization and daily practice of humanities life through lectures and explorations.
Yeonggwang County Library was selected for two consecutive years in a public contest hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Library Association, and under the theme ‘The Power to Overcome COVID-19! Forests, Travel, and Future Studies,’ it will be held a total of five times for residents until the 14th of next month.
Especially this year, due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, the number of participants has been reduced and the program will be operated online in a non-face-to-face manner, making it a useful lecture during a time when visiting the library is difficult.
Detailed schedules can be checked and free participation applications can be made through the county library website, and for other detailed information, inquiries can be made to the county library.
