Gwangju Region's Cumulative COVID-19 Cases Remain at 496 for Four Consecutive Days
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju has maintained zero new COVID-19 cases for the fourth consecutive day.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 8th, no new COVID-19 cases were reported the previous day, keeping the region's cumulative confirmed cases at 496 for the fourth day in a row.
In terms of local transmission, it has been eight days since the last case on the 29th of last month.
Currently, four patients are undergoing COVID-19 treatment in Gwangju. A total of 489 have recovered and been discharged, while three have died.
So far, 152,956 people have been tested for COVID-19, with 152,151 testing negative and 309 awaiting results.
