NH Nonghyup Card Conducts Rural Labor Assistance for Farming Season
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] NH Nonghyup Card announced on the 7th that it visited a grape farm located in Songsan-myeon, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 6th and carried out volunteer work to help with farm labor.
About 30 executives and employees, including President Shin In-sik, participated in this volunteer activity. They engaged in grapevine pruning work alongside farms experiencing labor shortages during the farming season and also conducted village environmental maintenance such as collecting abandoned agricultural materials discarded in the village.
President Shin said, "I am glad to be able to offer some help to rural areas suffering from labor shortages due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and heavy rain damage," adding, "We will continue to carry out volunteer work to support rural communities and farmers in times of difficulty."

Meanwhile, NH Nonghyup Card, along with helping with farm labor, distributed informational leaflets containing countermeasures against voice phishing and suspicious crime cases to village farmers and conducted education as part of its participation in the Voice Phishing Zero Campaign.
