According to Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education on the 6th, to improve convenience for visiting civil petitioners, floor guide lines, ceiling signs, and directional signboards were installed to enhance external accessibility, and the internal entrance doors and reception counters were completely replaced with glass walls to make the inside of the civil service office clearly visible.
In addition, the external entrance door was replaced with an automatic door and a ramp was installed to facilitate wheelchair users' access, and a dedicated counter for socially disadvantaged petitioners using a call bell linked to the civil service office was established.
Furthermore, translated versions of foreign language civil petition forms and forms by category were provided, and information boards using pictograms (public guidance pictorial signs) were installed to make civil service information easily recognizable for everyone.
The Provincial Office of Education is making various efforts to provide customer-tailored civil services, such as operating the gallery "Ieum" as a waiting space where petitioners can handle civil affairs comfortably and without burden.
