[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] SsangYong Motor announced on the 6th that it has started sales of the new Tivoli Air with enhanced product quality and will hold the official launch event through TV broadcasting for the first time in Korea.
On this day, SsangYong Motor began sales of the '2021 Tivoli Air' at showrooms nationwide and will hold the new car launch event through CJ O Shopping channel broadcast at 7:45 PM on the 7th, marking the first time in Korea.
The TV launch event will be hosted by singer Brian, allowing viewers to vividly experience the new car's interior and exterior design and special features from their homes. It will also be available for live viewing on the official YouTube channels of both companies.
The 2021 Tivoli Air is upgraded with a powerful 1.5 turbo gasoline engine delivering a maximum output of 163ps and maximum torque of 26.5kg·m, paired with a reliable AISIN 6-speed transmission.
The front design shared with the Tivoli features an integrated bumper surrounding LED fog lamps and a hood with character lines that create a sporty and strong impression, while the Full LED headlamps emphasize harmony with the fog lamps.
When folding the second row, a length of 1879mm (capacity 1440ℓ) is secured, providing enough space for an adult male to comfortably camp inside the car. Various interior items allow infinite transformation not only for car camping but also into a personal reading and workspace.
Additionally, it offers enhanced safety with 13 active safety technologies (Active Safety) including ▲Central Lane Keeping Assist (CLKA) ▲Rear Cross Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCTAi), which performs emergency braking when an object approaches from the rear side posing a collision risk, and ▲Exit Assist Function (EAF), which prevents accidents during exit through auditory warnings.
