Hwasun-gun to Accept Additional Applications for 'Jeonnam Youth Employment Retention Incentive' Until the 13th
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 5th that it will additionally recruit participating companies for the ‘Jeonnam Youth Continuous Employment Incentive’ support project from the 6th to the 13th.
The Youth Continuous Employment Incentive support project is promoted to encourage long-term employment of young people working in small and medium-sized enterprises and to reduce the wage gap with large corporations.
It provides up to 20 million KRW per person over 4 years to youth employed as regular workers (15 million KRW for youth, 5 million KRW for companies).
The eligible applicants are youths aged 18 to 39 who have worked for 1 to 4 years (hired between 2020 and 2017) at companies located in the county with 5 to fewer than 300 employees insured under employment insurance.
Currently, 8 local companies and 10 young workers are receiving support.
The county has additionally secured a budget of 86 million KRW and plans to select and support 17 more youths.

To improve this situation, we will actively expand support for the small and medium-sized enterprise youth continuous employment incentive.”
