Lee Kyung-hoon Ties for 39th... Garcia and Davis Share Lead
Sanderson Farms Championship Day 3: 2 Under Par, Poston Tied for Lead, Defending Champ Munoz Tied 14th
[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] Lee Kyung-hoon (29, CJ Logistics, photo) is fighting hard.
On the 4th (Korean time) at Jackson Golf Club in Mississippi, USA (par 72, 7,461 yards), during the third day of the PGA Tour Sanderson Farms Championship (total prize money $6.6 million), he added 2 under par to move up slightly to a tie for 39th place (5 under par, 211 strokes). Sergio Garcia (Spain), Cameron Davis (Australia), and J.T. Poston (USA) are fiercely competing for the lead, tied at 14 under par (202 strokes). Brant Snedeker (USA) is tied for 4th place (13 under par, 203 strokes).
Starting from a tie for 45th place, 10 strokes behind, Lee Kyung-hoon recorded five birdies and three bogeys. He had a good start with consecutive birdies on holes 2 and 3 but was held back by a bogey on the 5th hole (par 5). After a birdie on the 10th hole (par 3), he lost it with a bogey on the 12th hole (par 4), then regained momentum with consecutive birdies on holes 14 and 15. However, a disappointing three-putt bogey on the final 18th hole (par 4) was unfortunate. Korea’s Im Sung-jae (22) is tied for 52nd place (3 under par, 213 strokes), and Kim Si-woo (25, both from CJ Logistics) is tied for 63rd place (1 under par, 215 strokes), both struggling.

He is in his second year after joining the PGA Tour last year. Keegan Bradley (USA), who was the leader the previous day, lost one stroke and slipped to a tie for 6th place (12 under par, 204 strokes). Defending champion Sebastian Munoz (Colombia) is tied for 14th place (9 under par, 207 strokes).
