Expressway Corporation Tongdosa Rest Area Separates Packaging Sales Routes During Chuseok Holiday... "Resembling a Quarantine Station"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Tongdosa Rest Area on the Busan-bound side of the Gyeongbu Expressway, managed by Korea Expressway Corporation's Busan-Gyeongnam Headquarters, announced on the 2nd that it is operating a strong quarantine system, including restricting the use of indoor seating during the Chuseok holiday.
Following the policy of the Expressway Rest Area Association, only 'take-out' products are allowed during the Chuseok holiday, turning the restaurant building at Tongdosa Rest Area into something resembling a quarantine station. The ban on using seats inside the restaurant building will be maintained until October 4, the last day of the holiday.
To separate customer flow in the dining area, this rest area operates the entrance and exit doors as dedicated entry and exit points. Additionally, indoor store temperature checks, visitor log entries, and the assignment of management personnel to each building such as restrooms and open stores are continuously conducted to guide customers on social distancing.

A representative of Tongdosa Rest Area stated, "During the Chuseok holiday, when interregional movement is high, all employees are maintaining the highest level of vigilance to completely block the possibility of infection within the rest area through thorough quarantine measures and customer guidance."
