Eunpyeong-gu Hosts Online Pet Culture Class 'Daengdaeng School'
First-come, first-served 80 households registration from the 12th for 1:1 online customized education
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is conducting the Eunpyeong-gu Pet Culture Class as an online education program, as part of awareness improvement activities to foster a mature companion animal culture.
According to Eunpyeong-gu, as the population raising companion animals increases, conflicts between neighbors have intensified due to recent dog bite incidents and the lack of pet etiquette, resulting in a rise in related complaints.
In response, Eunpyeong-gu plans to provide online education to residents on essential dog care, including basic training, toilet training, walking, socialization, and problem behavior management.
The Eunpyeong-gu Pet Culture Class, "Eunpyeong-gu Daengdaengi School," began accepting applications online (portal site "Eunpyeong-gu Daengdaengi School") on the 28th of last month, with a first-come, first-served limit of 80 households, and will start 1:1 customized online education from the 12th.
