Martial Arts, Online Smart Logistics Integrated Platform 'Export-Import Logistics Portal' Service Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea International Trade Association has transformed its existing logistics portal into an integrated online smart logistics platform called the 'Import-Export Logistics Portal' to reduce logistics costs and strengthen logistics services for small and medium export companies, and launched the service on the 6th.
The portal provides real-time integrated logistics information from 21 public institutions and companies related to logistics, including Incheon International Airport Corporation, Busan Port Authority, Korea Railroad Corporation, Korea Trade Network (KTnet), Treadlings, and K-Logi.
Additionally, 79 logistics services provided by partner organizations are linked to the necessary services and related sites according to the six stages of the import-export process: 'Export Goods Preparation - Domestic Transportation - Export Customs Clearance - International Transportation - Import Customs Clearance - Local Transportation.' It also offers guidance on ▲joint freight purchasing ▲real-time cargo transportation reservation information, greatly enhancing users' understanding, accessibility, and convenience.
A new system capable of accumulating logistics data from export companies has also been installed. The Trade Association plans to database logistics difficulties and service demands collected during import-export logistics field consulting to use as basic data for supporting the resolution of logistics difficulties for export companies and developing new services in the future.
