Nareul is a video call app using 3D avatars and augmented reality (AR) emoticons, allowing group video calls with up to 8 people regardless of telecom carrier. During calls, users can send photos or files and enjoy content such as watching YouTube together and picture quizzes. Chuseok-themed content such as AR stickers and masks have been added to the video screen, including a rabbit eating songpyeon, moon rabbit, and full moon emoticons. A background feature was newly added so families who cannot be together due to COVID-19 can video call with backgrounds like a ceremonial table. Additionally, 15 types of content including popular character Molang, Carrot Molang, and Molang Cat have been added.
