Hyundai Motor Completes N?rburgring 24-Hour Endurance Race for 5 Consecutive Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Hyundai Motor's entire lineup of high-performance N vehicles demonstrated excellent racing performance by successfully completing the 'N?rburgring 24-hour Endurance Race' for the fifth consecutive year without stopping for 24 hours.
Hyundai Motor announced that from the 26th to the 27th (local time), three high-performance vehicles?Veloster N TCR, i30 Fastback N, and i30 N TCR?participated in the N?rburgring 24-hour Endurance Race held at the N?rburgring circuit in Germany, finishing in overall rankings of 23rd, 50th, and 51st respectively, successfully completing the race.
This event faced severe weather conditions with rain and fog causing an 8-hour suspension of the race. A total of 97 vehicles participated, with 74 vehicles completing the race (completion rate of 76%).
The Veloster N TCR achieved an overall ranking of 23rd, climbing 22 places from 45th last year, and secured 2nd place in the TCR class, demonstrating solid endurance and overwhelming driving performance. The i30 Fastback N finished 50th overall and claimed 1st place in the SP3T class, marking Hyundai Motor's first class victory and showcasing its capabilities. The i30 N TCR ranked 51st overall and 4th in the TCR class.
With this, Hyundai Motor has successfully completed the N?rburgring 24-hour Endurance Race for five consecutive years since 2016. Moreover, Hyundai Motor's entire high-performance N lineup achieved the feat of completing the circuit, showcasing its technological prowess to motorsport fans worldwide.
