Visit to Elderly Care Facility, Delivery of Consolation Gifts, and Encouragement of Staff
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Kim Heedong, a member of the Jeonnam Provincial Assembly, announced on the 26th that he visited the ‘Jindo-gun Nursing Home for the Elderly’ and ‘Sinjin Nursing Home for the Elderly’ on the 25th ahead of Chuseok to deliver consolation goods and encourage facility staff.
The visit was conducted by delivering consolation goods from outside without internal visits to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and listening to the difficulties related to facility operations from the facility staff.
Assemblyman Kim Heedong said, “This year, due to the COVID-19 situation, the holiday is expected to be smaller than usual as people refrain from visiting their hometowns,” adding, “I hope this will help even a little in making sure no one is left out and everyone has a warm Chuseok.”
