Shindonga Construction Participates in 'Love Blood Donation' Event... Second Time This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Shindonga Construction announced on the 24th that it held a 'Love Blood Donation Event' at its headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 23rd to help overcome the blood supply crisis caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Shindonga Construction stated, "In accordance with the Level 2 social distancing guidelines, we followed safety measures such as temperature checks before blood donation, hand sanitization, and maintaining distance between waiting participants. Considering the density inside the blood donation bus, donations were conducted by dividing participants by time slots." About 60 employees from the headquarters and various sites voluntarily participated in the event and donated blood certificates. All of these blood certificates will be sent to the Korea Blood Cancer Association.
A company official said, "Upon hearing that blood reserves have sharply decreased due to strengthened distancing measures, we held the blood donation event to contribute even a little." He added, "We will continue to practice sharing love for our neighbors through various social contribution activities."
