Uljin-gun Extends Local Love Gift Certificate '10% Cashback' Until Year-End
Publication scale to expand from 3 billion to 5 billion by the end of the year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, has decided to extend the 10% cashback benefit period for the 'Uljin Sarang Card,' launched to revitalize the local economy and prevent the outflow of local funds, until December 31.
According to Uljin-gun on the 16th, the county, which began issuing the rechargeable prepaid IC card-type local love gift certificate on the 3rd of last month, initially set the special benefit period for the launch celebration and Chuseok holiday until October 4. During this period, a cashback event is being held where 10% is returned every time up to KRW 500,000 per month (with an annual limit of KRW 5 million) per individual is spent.
To revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19 and other factors, Uljin-gun decided to extend the cashback benefit period until the end of the year and also expand the issuance scale from the originally planned KRW 3 billion to KRW 5 billion this year.
