Novelists Jang Ryujin and Jeong Jia Jointly Win Sim Hun Literary Award
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] Novelists Jang Ryujin and Jeong Jia will jointly receive this year's Sim Hun Literary Award.
Asia Publishing and the Sim Hun Memorial Project Association announced that this year's winning works are Jang Ryujin's short story "Tokyo's Maya" and Jeong Jia's "Black Room." The prize money is 10 million won each.
The rookie award, the Sim Hun Literary Award, went to Do Jae-kyung in the novel category and Choi Se-woon in the poetry category. The prize money is 7 million won for novels and 5 million won for poetry, and the winning works will be published as standalone books.

The award ceremony will be held on the 17th, the anniversary of Sim Hun's death, at the Sim Hun Literary Memorial Hall in Dangjin-si, Chungnam.
