View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that from midnight to 6 p.m. on the 10th, an additional 55 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were identified in the Seoul area over 18 hours. Accordingly, the cumulative number of confirmed cases increased to 4,581.
The new confirmed cases by infection route are as follows: 15 cases at Severance Hospital in Seodaemun-gu (Sinchon) (total 18 in Seoul), 3 cases related to workers at Jongno-gu Office (total 11), 2 cases at the Illyeonjeongjong Seoul Buddhist Mission in Yeongdeungpo-gu (total 21), 3 cases at the Coupang logistics center in Songpa-gu (total 13), 1 case at Jinheung Global in Dongjak-gu (total 30), 1 case at a nursing facility in Dongjak-gu (total 7), and 1 case related to Guro apartment and Geumcheon livestock company (total 36).
Additionally, 8 cases (total 193) were from contact with confirmed patients from other cities and provinces, 10 cases (total 2,191) were from 'other' routes such as old cluster infections or sporadic cases, and 2 cases (total 400) were imported from overseas.
