'BTS' Presents 'Seoul Tourism Promotional Video' Simultaneously Released Worldwide on the 11th

The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Foundation announced on the 10th that they will release the Seoul tourism promotional video "SEE YOU IN SEOUL," featuring BTS, on the official Seoul tourism website (www.visitseoul.net) on the 11th.
This promotional video focuses on "recovery marketing," aiming to deliver hope to those eagerly awaiting the resumption of travel, while increasing anticipation and awareness of Seoul tourism, encouraging future visits to Seoul. Although travel has been halted, affection for Seoul and Hallyu continues to be fostered, positioning Seoul as a bucket list destination for global Hallyu fans. As the COVID-19 pandemic subsides, the Seoul tourism message, "When travel starts again, we hope Seoul will be your first destination," is conveyed through the slogan "SEE YOU IN SEOUL" in the promotional video.
The video is designed to make viewers feel as if they are traveling virtually through Seoul with BTS, especially when actual visits to Seoul are difficult. The seven BTS members guide viewers through themed Seoul tourism from start to finish, captivating Hallyu fans’ eyes and ears and effectively showcasing Seoul’s diverse charms.
BTS has appeared in Seoul tourism promotional videos for four consecutive years. Since 2017, BTS has served as Seoul’s honorary tourism ambassadors, maintaining a close relationship with the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Following appearances in "Seoul Life" in 2017, "My Seoul Playlist" in 2018, and "You Too, Like Me in Seoul" in 2019, BTS is playing a significant role in promoting Seoul tourism with this year’s promotional video.
Prior to the release of this promotional video, Seoul City has been releasing member-specific countdown videos since the 4th, which have sparked enthusiastic interest and responses from potential tourists worldwide. These videos have currently recorded approximately 21 million views and over 23,700 comments, demonstrating BTS’s powerful influence.
The Seoul tourism promotional video will be simultaneously released worldwide at 5 p.m. Korean time on the 11th via the Seoul tourism website (www.visitseoul.net), YouTube (www.youtube.com/visitseoul), Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. Additionally, a Seoul tourism promotional poster filled with the charms of BTS and Seoul will be unveiled.
