Seomin "Ruling party fully mobilized to defend Choo Mi-ae's son allegations... Is this a country?"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Professor Seo Min, co-author of the book "A Country Never Experienced Before," also known as the "Cho Kuk Black Book," and a professor at Dankook University College of Medicine, criticized on the 10th, saying, "The ruling party's full-scale defense regarding the allegations against Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae's son is becoming increasingly absurd."
Professor Seo wrote on his social network service (SNS) on the same day, "Since when did they become like this? Was it after the Cho Kuk incident that revealed their true colors, or after winning a landslide victory with 180 seats in the general election?"
He added, "Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Nam-guk also said, 'Please stop the political attacks and just wait for the investigation results. It's too noisy and exhausting.' Minister Choo says the same thing, saying the investigation could be done immediately." He continued, "But we know that all prosecutors who would fairly investigate the allegations against Minister Choo have been demoted, and now only the regime's lackeys remain."
He went on, "The phrase 'I cannot comment because it is an ongoing investigation' was something said by the prosecution and investigative agencies, but at some point, the subjects of the investigation started saying it themselves," adding, "The truly unfortunate fact is that this desperate cry will not resonate with them at all."
