(Foundation) Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation, Hope Kit Sharing Project
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] The Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation (Chairman Kim Young-gu) visited Jeongeup City Hall on the 8th to hold a 'Daily Necessities Kit Delivery Ceremony' for underprivileged youth in Jeongeup City.
Attending the delivery ceremony were Kim Young-gu, Chairman of the Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation, Lee Seong-ran, Vice President of Jeonbuk Bank, Kim Dong-hyung, Center Director, Kim Kyung-jin, Head of Social Contribution Department, Seo Doo-won, Branch Manager of Jeongeup City Hall Branch, Yoo Jin-seop, Mayor of Jeongeup City, and Seo Young-sook, Secretary General of the Jeonbuk Community Chest of Korea.
This project was prepared to support daily necessities to underprivileged youth in Jeongeup City, who are physically and mentally exhausted due to the triple hardships of typhoons, heatwaves, and COVID-19, to help them overcome the crisis.
The items delivered on this day included a total of 9 types such as Hetbahn (ready-to-eat rice), stew, Jjapagetti (Korean-style instant noodles), cup ramen, black bean sauce noodles, seaweed, Spam, and wet tissues, which were distributed to about 50 youths.
Yoo Jin-seop, Mayor of Jeongeup City, said, “I deeply appreciate the Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation for donating goods so that neighbors in welfare blind spots are not neglected,” and added, “We will do our best to make Jeongeup a happy and livable city.”
