On the 7th at 4 p.m., Jungnang-gu Office held a basic business agreement (MOU) signing ceremony in the Planning Situation Room with eight attendees, including Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi of Jungnang-gu and Kim Se-yong, President of Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH), to jointly promote the 'Jungnang Startup Support Center' project.
The main contents of the agreement between the district and SH include administrative and financial support and information sharing for project implementation, consultation on implementation plans, cooperation on all tasks related to securing budgets for public facilities such as startup support facilities, and mutual cooperation to establish measures to prevent and resolve complaints in the surrounding areas.
This MOU follows the joint application by Jungnang-gu and SH in May, and the final selection in July of the planned site for the Jungnang Startup Support Center (195-1 Sinnae-dong) as a job-linked support housing project by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Through this agreement, the two organizations have moved closer to the successful promotion of the project.
Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi of Jungnang-gu stated, “The Jungnang Startup Support Center project is extremely important for strengthening the industrial competitiveness of Jungnang-gu and developing the local economy. We will devote all our capabilities to ensure that the Jungnang Startup Support Center becomes the center of innovative startups in northeastern Seoul.”
Scheduled to begin construction in 2022 and complete in 2025, the 'Jungnang Startup Support Center' is a joint project by Jungnang-gu and SH, where Jungnang-gu provides the site and covers the construction costs of the startup support center, and SH undertakes project implementation and provides housing construction costs.
