The appointment consent bill passed the plenary session with 209 votes in favor, 65 against, and 6 abstentions out of a total of 280 votes. During the plenary session, members stood up one row at a time starting from the back row of the chamber to participate in the vote in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
