View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Nam Seong-hee, president of Daegu Health College, has been elected as the 20th president of the Korea Council for University College Education.
Currently serving as the 19th president, Nam Seong-hee was reappointed. He began his presidency at Daegu Health College in 2002 and served as a member of the Prime Minister's Office Government Performance Evaluation Committee from 2010 to 2014, and as a member of the Presidential Committee on Local Autonomy Development from 2013 to 2017. He has also served as president of the Korea Council of University College Corporations and as senior vice president of the Korea Council for University College Education.
Nam graduated from Ewha Womans University with a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting in 1978. He worked as an announcer for KBS, earned a master's degree in Journalism and Broadcasting from Keimyung University, and obtained a doctorate in Education from Yeungnam University Graduate School of Education.
