Two Confirmed Cases Visit KT Gwanghwamun Branch in Succession

On the 31st, Jongno-gu, Seoul, announced in the 'Movement Routes of Confirmed Cases from Other Regions in Jongno-gu' that two COVID-19 confirmed cases visited the KT Gwanghwamun branch from the 24th to the 27th and from the 27th to the 28th, respectively.
They were confirmed positive on the 29th and 30th, respectively. It has not been disclosed whether they showed symptoms at the time of visiting the building, and Jongno-gu immediately conducted disinfection operations at the locations visited by the confirmed cases.
KT instructed employees working at the East and West buildings of the Gwanghwamun branch to report to the company if they have any suspicious symptoms and to get tested at designated priority hospitals or nearby screening clinics.
After confirming that a confirmed case used the cafeteria in the Gwanghwamun West building on the 24th, KT repeatedly reminded employees who used the cafeteria during that time to follow the same precautionary measures.

Earlier, on July 2nd, KT took preemptive measures by ordering all employees working in the East building and the opposite West building to work from home after an employee working in the East building tested positive for COVID-19.
