View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] The Foundation for Cooperation between Large, Small and Medium Enterprises and Agriculture and Fisheries (hereinafter referred to as the Cooperation Foundation) announced on the 25th that it will carry out support activities for victims in special disaster areas affected by floods in partnership with convenience store Korea Seven (hereinafter referred to as Seven Eleven).
According to the agreement, Seven Eleven will immediately donate over 7,000 food items such as snacks in kind to help victims in Asan City and Eumseong County in the Chungcheong region, which suffered heavy damage due to the recent heavy rainstorm that struck the central region.
Going forward, the Cooperation Foundation plans to continue various win-win support activities in cooperation with Seven Eleven whenever various damage situations occur in rural fishing villages nationwide.
Park Noseop, Head of the Rural Win-Win Fund Operation Headquarters at the Cooperation Foundation, said, “Seven Eleven’s contribution is a great help in supporting rural fishing villages going through difficult times due to the flood damage,” and added, “We hope other companies voluntarily participate to revitalize rural fishing villages.”
