Due to school closures and academy suspensions, face-to-face learning has become difficult. The education industry is strengthening the establishment of non-face-to-face (untact) environments that allow learning regardless of time and place.
According to the industry on the 22nd, Woongjin ThinkBig introduced the 'Woongjin Smart All Together' service, which creates self-directed learning habits through systematic video management. It was developed in response to the rapid changes in the educational environment caused by COVID-19.
This video class consists of a three-stage curriculum: group learning, self-directed learning, and one-on-one coaching. Woongjin ThinkBig teachers who have completed the regular curriculum conduct video classes regularly and inform parents of the learning results after the sessions.
Daekyo is recruiting online teachers called 'Onssaem' through its Noonopi brand. This aims to meet the demand for online learning in the untact era and secure specialized teachers for non-face-to-face learning management. Anyone who has graduated from a regular university or holds a bachelor's degree can apply.
Onssaem professionally manages learning through an online video management system. Daekyo plans to provide online environment devices to Onssaem who sign contracts by October this year. Also, all online teachers who sign contracts during the Onssaem recruitment period will receive a 38% flat-rate commission system, and upon meeting certain conditions, a 40% flat-rate commission will be uniformly applied, according to the company.
Kyowon Group is recruiting the second cohort for the 'Red Pen Perfect Score Habit' through its Smart Red Pen education service. The Red Pen Perfect Score Habit is a learning habit management system designed based on the habit formation theory of James Clear, an American self-development author.
This system analyzes habit formation cycles and learning patterns to conduct repetitive learning on daily, weekly, and monthly bases. Learning history is converted into a 'habit score,' and upon achieving goals, appropriate rewards stimulate learning motivation. Additionally, a habit calendar where stickers can be placed after daily learning is provided to make self-directed learning management enjoyable.
Smart Red Pen is a digital learning material published by the group. According to a survey conducted through the first cohort of the Red Pen Perfect Score Habit, three out of four students who participated improved their grades. Participants in the second cohort will receive certificates, medals, and cultural gift certificates according to their achievement of target habits. The top members by grade will be awarded scholarships up to 1 million KRW.
