Introduction of Electronic Entry Log at Sejong City Hall... Access Allowed After Authentication
[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City will introduce and operate an electronic entry log system at City Hall.
The city announced on the 21st that starting from the 24th, visitors entering City Hall will be able to receive an encrypted QR code on their smartphones, scan it on a tablet PC installed at the entrance, and go through an authentication process to gain entry.
The electronic entry log is introduced to streamline visitor management and to ensure that in the event a confirmed case occurs within the government building, epidemiological investigations and quarantine measures can be conducted accurately and promptly.
Information collected through the electronic entry log will be transmitted to the Ministry of Health and Welfare's server and used solely for epidemiological investigations; no one can access it for any other purpose.
The city also emphasizes that the collected information will be automatically destroyed after 4 weeks.
