Pohang City, Cheongnim Beach Youth Marine Leisure Sports Experience Class
From the 22nd to the 31st, for 10 days at the starting point of the Homibando Coastal Trail
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang City, Gyeongbuk announced on the 20th that it will operate a youth marine leisure sports experience class at Cheongnim Beach, the starting point of the Homibando Coastal Trail, from the 22nd to the 31st.
This experience class will be prioritized for youths and families from industrial complex nearby areas (Cheongnim, Jecheol, Donghae, Ocheon, etc.) who usually have limited access and opportunities to experience marine leisure sports.
The program includes five events: surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, yachting, and waterboarding, and the experience is free of charge. All activities are conducted after safety education under the guidance of professional instructors. In particular, to prevent COVID-19, participation is by prior reservation only.
