COVID-19 Case Confirmed at LG CNS Magok Headquarters...Emergency Disinfection Measures Implemented
Tested Positive for COVID-19 While Working from Home
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] A confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported at the LG CNS headquarters building located in LG Science Park, Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
According to LG CNS on the 19th, employee A, who works on the 6th floor of building E13, one of the two buildings of the LG CNS headquarters, tested positive for COVID-19 that morning.
LG CNS has been implementing a work-from-home system since the previous day. Accordingly, A has not visited the headquarters building since leaving work on the 14th and was confirmed positive while working from home.
Following A’s positive diagnosis, some employees who were in the building that morning reportedly left immediately. It is also reported that not only LG CNS employees but also partner company employees work in the building where A was stationed.

LG CNS stated that emergency disinfection measures are underway in the building where the confirmed case occurred. The schedule for lifting the work-from-home order and reopening the headquarters building will be decided after monitoring the situation. LG CNS added, "An epidemiological investigation by health authorities is currently underway to determine whether anyone inside the company had contact with A and how A contracted COVID-19."
