The briefing session held on the 18th was conducted in a non-face-to-face format due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), unlike previous sessions where KOTRA visited overseas locations in person.
Fifty semiconductor companies from Shanghai, China, and the Taiwan region participated in the seminar. The seminar covered the outlook of South Korea's semiconductor industry and the investment environment. KOTRA introduced the current status of foreign investment in Korea, investment incentives, and location conditions.
Chungcheongbuk-do also promoted the location conditions and incentives of Chungbuk to potential investors. The Investment Comprehensive Counseling Center (ICC), which provides customized consulting services for foreign-invested companies, offered guidance on consultation services related to investment in areas such as law, accounting, and employment.
