On the 18th, the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation announced, "BTS member J-Hope donated 100 million won to be used for children from vulnerable groups who are experiencing economic difficulties."
J-Hope said to the foundation, "I hope the donation will be properly delivered to children in vulnerable crisis groups affected by various social issues, especially those facing economic hardships due to COVID-19."
Previously, J-Hope became a member of the Green Noble Club, a high-value donor group of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, in 2018 and donated 150 million won that year to support talent development and children with illnesses. In February last year, he sponsored 100 million won as a scholarship for his alma mater, and in December, he donated 100 million won to support children with illnesses.
