View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] The Changwon Maritime Police in Gyeongnam announced that at around 12:21 PM on the 17th, they rescued a drifting rubber boat (with 3 passengers) near Sogodo Island in Jinhae-gu.
Upon receiving the rescue report, the maritime police dispatched coastal rescue boats, rescue teams, and patrol vessels.
According to the maritime police, Mrs. Choi, who had visited Sokuri Island for camping with her family, reported that her husband and children (two boys), who had gone out on the rubber boat, had not returned for about two hours.
The husband, Mr. Lee, and the children had been enjoying leisure activities on the rubber boat around 10:15 AM when they drifted to the sea in front of Udo Breakwater due to the current.
The rescue team arriving at the scene found the rubber boat and towed it back to the Sokuri Island pier.

A Changwon Maritime Police official stated, "Fortunately, the health condition of the drifting passengers is normal, and we urged and educated them to follow safety rules for safe leisure activities."
