The Cultural Heritage Administration's Palace and Royal Tombs Division announced on the 14th that the special nighttime viewing of Gyeongbokgung Palace will be held for 82 days from September 2 to December 4.
The viewing hours are from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with the last admission at 8:30 PM. The maximum number of visitors per day is limited to 4,500. Of these, 2,500 tickets are available through advance reservations and 2,000 through on-site sales. Advance reservations can be made via Naver. Visitors must verify their identity on the day of the visit and receive their tickets before entering. On-site sales are conducted at the Gwanghwamun ticket booth of Gyeongbokgung Palace. An official stated, “Both advance reservations and on-site sales allow a maximum purchase of four tickets per person.”

The advance reservation window will open at 2:00 PM on the 21st. The admission fee is 3,000 KRW. However, national merit recipients, persons with disabilities, children under six years old, and those wearing hanbok can enter free of charge without advance reservation or on-site purchase. An official said, “We hope visitors create special memories at this cultural heritage site representing our country and find healing from the hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
