Nowon-gu Holds 2021 Academic Year Early Admission and CSAT Strategy Briefing Session

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Nowon-gu (Mayor Oh Seung-rok) will hold a free college entrance briefing session for examinees applying for the 2021 academic year university early admission process.
The briefing session, held on September 4th from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Kwangwoon University Donghae Culture and Arts Center Grand Theater, was organized to assist parents and examinees who have expressed a lack of information about various early admission processes.
The session will operate on a reservation basis. Applications can be made by logging in and clicking on the integrated registration on the Nowon-gu Office website starting from 10 AM on August 17th.
The session will be conducted by Kim Dong-jin, director and invited consultant of the Nowon-gu Self-Directed Learning Support Center.
The main topics include ▲Characteristics and application strategies for the 2021 early admission ▲Preparation methods for self-introduction letters, interviews, and essays ▲Strategies and methods to improve CSAT scores.
To prevent COVID-19, attendance is limited to 500 people, which is 25% of the total 2,005 seats, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through 100% advance reservation.
On the day of the briefing, wearing a mask is mandatory. QR code electronic entry logs, video cameras, thermometers, and hand sanitizers will be provided to ensure thorough quarantine measures.
Additionally, one-on-one career and academic counseling for students from first grade of middle school to examinees and their parents, which has been operating since June 18th, is receiving enthusiastic responses.
The first round of counseling, which ran until July 31st, was fully booked within two days of opening reservations and was conducted with high satisfaction.
The second round of counseling began on August 3rd, and applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Nowon-gu Office website.
Counseling sessions are held at the Nowon-gu Self-Directed Learning Support Center counseling room, with five sessions per day from 4 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, each lasting up to one hour per counselor.
Due to high interest from parents and students, all appointments are fully booked through November, but dates still available until December 30th can be selected and applied for.
