On the 12th, according to the Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Im Jongbok), 38 members of the Gwangsan Volunteer Fire Brigade visited flood-damaged farms directly to carry out volunteer activities for emergency flood recovery in areas affected by heavy rain the previous day.
They conducted flood recovery work using mini excavators and 2.5-ton trucks targeting houses and vinyl greenhouses in the Imdong, Bonryang-dong, and Dujung-dong areas of Gwangsan-gu, which were damaged by the heavy monsoon rains on the 7th and 8th.
The volunteer fire brigade's flood recovery volunteer activities began on the 10th and plan to mobilize about 300 people without a set end date, continuing until help is no longer needed.

Im Jongbok, chief of the Gwangsan Fire Station, said, "During this period of heavy rain, we focused on life-saving and safety measures, carrying out about 230 emergency rescue operations. From now on, we will actively support manpower and equipment to help the affected residents recover from the flood damage as quickly as possible."
