"Let's Camp in Hotel Rooms" Plaza Launches 'Glamping Night Package'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Plaza Hotel, operated by Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, is offering a limited-time "Glamping Night Package" incorporating untact camping vibes until October 31.
This package uses connect rooms (adjoining rooms) with the concept of safe camping enjoyed within the heart of Seoul. One room maintains the existing bedroom for comfortable rest, while the connected room is equipped with premium camping gear from the outdoor select shop LQL.
A hotel official who planned the product said, "Due to COVID-19, it has become difficult to use outdoor campsites where people gather, and more customers are seeking safer and more private places," adding, "We will continuously strive to provide customers with diverse experiences and the latest trends in line with the changing market environment to gain an advantage in the post-COVID era." The package price starts from 240,000 KRW.
