BLACKPINK Celebrates 4th Anniversary... Prepares 'Frozen' Version Dance Video for Fans
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] BLACKPINK spent time preparing a special gift for their fans to celebrate their 4th debut anniversary.
On the morning of the 8th at 9 a.m., YG Entertainment released episode 6 of the exclusive reality content '24/365 with BLACKPINK' on their official blog and BLACKPINK's official YouTube channel.
In the released video, BLACKPINK gathered in the dance practice room and expressed their feelings, saying, "It's already our 4th anniversary." To commemorate this, the members discussed and decided to film a 'cosplay dance video.' Jisoo said, "We had released the dance video in a classic style before, but I thought the BLINKs (fandom) might like it if we wore cute costumes."
The prepared concept was the movie Frozen. By drawing lots, Jisoo was assigned Elsa, Jennie as Kristoff, Ros? as Anna, and Lisa as Olaf. As soon as they started dressing up, the members quickly immersed themselves and acted out scenes. Afterwards, wearing the costumes, the members began filming the Frozen version of the 'How You Like That' dance video, radiating bright energy.
The second content was an interview. When asked about their feelings, Lisa said, "I'm happy," Ros? said, "We've made a lot of memories with BLINK," Jisoo said, "I always felt reassured knowing BLINK is there," and Jennie also expressed her affection for the fans, saying, "Let's be together for a long, long time."
There was also a guest who visited BLACKPINK. On this day, magician Choi Hyun-woo appeared as a guest and performed a magic trick predicting the numbers the members were thinking of in their heads. In the following card magic, as the cards were flipped one by one, numbers related to the members appeared, such as their birth years, the group name reveal, and their debut, delighting the BLACKPINK members.
