Jangseong 4-H Federation Wins at 'Jeonnam Youth 4-H Project Competition'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] Young farmers in Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, have won the overall championship at the province's agricultural competition.
According to the county on the 5th, the Jangseong-gun 4-H Federation secured the overall championship and the grand prize in the individual category of 'Cost Reduction and Productivity Increase' at the 'Jeollanam-do Youth 4-H Project Competition,' held biennially at the Jeonnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services, winning prize money of 30 million KRW.
Previously, the Jangseong-gun 4-H Federation also recorded an overall championship in 2018.
This competition featured over 110 youth 4-H members from 16 cities and counties in the Jeonnam region competing in five categories.
In Jangseong-gun, eight youth 4-H members participated in three categories: ▲Cost Reduction and Productivity Increase Competition ▲Agricultural Industry Idea Competition ▲Member Farm Promotional Video Competition, achieving the overall championship by earning high scores in event participation and volunteer activities.
