Yeonggwang-gun Holds 'Policy Meeting' for Development of Local Issues Projects
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 5th that it held a policy meeting at the county office on the 4th to seek ways for mutual development through joint response to local pending projects.
At the meeting, discussions were held on 14 pending projects including ▲ Bulgab Reservoir Waterfront Exploration Path Construction Project ▲ County Library Remodeling Project ▲ Six e-mobility projects including the establishment of a Future Mobility User Experience Lab ▲ and the Jeonnam District National Management Embankment Repair Project.
In particular, as part of the county's new landmark creation project, efforts were requested to ensure that the Bulgab Reservoir Waterfront Exploration Path Construction Project can be newly confirmed as a tourism resource development project next year.
The county plans to thoroughly review the opinions and suggestions presented by the provincial council members and actively reflect them in county administration to strengthen an organic cooperation system.

Governor Kim Jun-seong said, “The Korean New Deal project announced by the government last month aligns with Jeonnam Province's Blue Economy project, and since it includes the e-mobility and renewable energy projects that the county is focusing on, support and cooperation at the metropolitan level are urgently needed,” adding, “We will do our best to secure new food industry opportunities for the region.”
