"Buy the Touareg Up to 8 Million KRW Cheaper"... Volkswagen Korea Enhances Customer Benefits
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Volkswagen Korea is enhancing customer benefits by lowering the price of the third-generation new Touareg, a large sport utility vehicle (SUV), and expanding warranty services.
Volkswagen Korea announced on the 3rd that the price of the new Touareg 3.0 TDI model will be adjusted to 83.9 million KRW for the Premium, 89.9 million KRW for the Prestige, and 97.9 million KRW for the R-Line. Additionally, special financial promotion benefits will be added starting this month. When using financial products from Volkswagen Financial Services, the Premium model can be purchased for around 72 million KRW, and with an additional trade-in benefit (3 million KRW), the price drops to around 69 million KRW. Higher models also receive benefits of 8% for Prestige and 7% for R-Line compared to current prices.
Furthermore, all Touareg 3.0 TDI V6 customers will newly receive a 'bumper-to-bumper 5-year free warranty' covering all warranty items including the powertrain for 5 years or 150,000 km (whichever comes first). Welcome services and kits, as well as Volkswagen certified black box installation services, are also included.
Stefan Krapp, Head of Volkswagen Division at Audi Volkswagen Korea, said, “Volkswagen has been striving to popularize imported cars so that more customers can enjoy premium value at reasonable prices, and the price adjustment and special promotion for the Touareg are part of this strategy. We hope that through this opportunity, more customers will experience the flagship SUV Touareg, which can be called a concentration of Volkswagen’s latest technology.”
