Samsung SDS-NHN Strengthen Digital Transformation Business Collaboration
Expansion of Joint Projects in Cloud, Data Analytics, and Cybersecurity
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Samsung SDS and NHN are strengthening their business cooperation to discover new business opportunities and drive digital transformation.
On the 3rd, Samsung SDS and NHN announced that they signed a Business Cooperation Agreement (BCA) to expand joint projects in cloud services, data analytics, cybersecurity, and blockchain sectors.
The agreement includes utilizing both companies' cloud technologies to ▲ provide Samsung SDS data analytics and security solutions based on NHN cloud ▲ collaborate on applying Samsung SDS blockchain technology to NHN's simple payment services.
Having signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation in the cloud sector last May, the two companies have now concretized plans for collaboration on digital new technologies and joint business promotion through this agreement. They plan to operate a regular consultative body to visualize the outcomes of this agreement and explore new business opportunities.
Lee Junho, Chairman of NHN, stated, "Based on strategic cooperation with Samsung SDS, we will enhance business competitiveness and actively create new business opportunities."
