According to local media such as the daily Tuoi Tre, on this day, the Vietnamese Ministry of Health announced that a 70-year-old man who was hospitalized and receiving treatment at Danang Hospital in Danang City, central Vietnam, passed away.
The man had been admitted to Danang Hospital on the 9th for kidney disease treatment and was diagnosed with COVID-19 on the 27th during his hospitalization.
Meanwhile, Vietnamese authorities reported that 45 new COVID-19 cases were added in Danang City on this day, bringing the total confirmed cases to 509.
